Hello Steve, Thank you for your inquiry. The E08 error usually indicates an error with the electronics, usually a sensor or cable connection. The E06 indicates an error with the heating circuits. We would recommend checking the regulator thermistor, the high limit thermostat, the temperature limiter, and the heating element. Also check the wiring and control board for any loose connections or visible damage. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
My dryer is heating the clothes very hot, even when I engage the “low temperature” mode.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Dryer squeaks while running. Works correctly but noisy. Replaced drum bearing. Still squeaks. Does the "wheel" part partially support the weight of the drum? Could this be the source of the continuous squeak? I could replace the belt to see if it is a contributor ( rubber might have hardened after 4 years of use) but that does not seem like it would cause a squeak? Dryer turns are operates correctly so belt is intact.

Power OFF. Move dryer away from the wall. Make sure the knob is in the "OFF' position. Remove screws (2) holding top cover from back of dryer. Remove "BOSCH" cover plate from left side of front cover. There is a screw here holding the cover to the frame. Gently pry cover away from framework, being careful not to damage the cover clips. Once away from the dryer, remove the plug from the board. You will need to remove the board from the back of the cover to gain access to the knob. Make sure the knob aligns with the "OFF" position before reassembly. Reverse the the instructions for reassembly.
