Microwave not heating very well
Took microwave off the mount, removed all the outer covers except the face, used metal screwdriver to short the big capacitor to keep from being shocked, removed magnetron and replaced with new part. Put back together, hung on wall, and finished. I used a youtube video and it turned into a very simple fix.

Terminal leads were too wide on the thermostat.
I had to cut the leads on the thermostat to enable the wire terminal clips to fit on the leads. Not hard at all when the right tools are available. Care must be used because the leads are subject to being damaged. “ Hold leads with narrow needle nose pliers while cutting!

"Lost" microwave tray
Took out the turntable parts to ensure I ordered the correct cooking tray. Matching those with photos of related parts on PartSelect worked great. Put turntable drive and support ring in place and cooking tray went in very easily. Plan to order a second one to have on hand for this rental property.

machine was dead.
After removing the over-the-range unit (no small feat!) I had to figure out how to open the case (good puzzle!). Capacitor had already discharged, so it was very easy to reach in, pop the old fuse and install the new one! As per your advice, I found out I was a "28%-er"! Upon re-installation, the microwave "sprang to life"!! Thanks, "Part Select"!! I was already shopping around for a new machine! (Now if you could only tell me an easier way to re-mount this heavy beast over the stove!!!)

Mounting plate support edge broken
I removed the microwave to install a back splash and found the support edge on the backplate had broken off and was missing. I searched for parts for the microwave and found them on PartsSelect.com. Easy to order, and was shipped promptly.

Once the part arrived, install was simple, lining up the existing holes. The only hard part was setting the microwave up on the bracket due to the weight and awkwardness of the microwave.

Overall a very simple repair.

The door and the vent were cracking and not holding them in place. They needed to be replaced.
1. I took the two screws out with a Philips screw driver and lifted the vent up and out.
2. I then took a Torx screw driver and unscrewed the bolt that holds the door. I lifted it out and replaced the door by putting the bolt at the bottom of the door first and then put the bolt back in at the top and screwed that in.
3. That was all it took. It probably took me 15 minutes to do the whole thing.
