The product is giving an error code of E02 and F06 and would not work.
For model number WFW94HEXW2
PartSelect logo
Hi Linda, Thank you for your question. The E02 and F06 is letting you know that there is a communications error between the motor control unit and the central control unit. You will need to unplug the washer and check the wire harness connections between the parts. Check the motor control unit by looking for operations of the drive motor, and check the drive motor for powered rotations. Replace the failed component. Note: If this failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door will be unlocked after three minutes. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Water pools in door gasket. How to clear to drain? How to access and clean lint filter?
For model number WFW94HEXW2
PartSelect logo
Hi Lee, thank you for your question. The lint filter is in the drain pump. You would have to unscrew it to open it up and clean it out. Generally you need a pair of pliers to help you with this. Make sure when screwing it back into place that you do so tightly to keep it sealed. When you take the filter out have a towel ready, there will likely still be water inside of the pump. Good luck with your repair.

Whirlpool front loader. Error codes e01 and f06. What does this mean? It leaves the door locked.
For model number WFW94HEXW2
PartSelect logo
Hello Char, thank you for your question. We would advise testing the door lock/latch switch assembly with a multi-meter to test the part for continuity, and replacing it if it shows no continuity. The drive motor may also be worth checking to see if it is getting power properly. We hope this helps.

Miscommunication between mmk an ccu
For model number WFW94HEXW2
PartSelect logo
Hi Don, Thank you for your question. If you are getting a communications error between the MCU and the CCU, you may have a faulty door lock switch. If you have a faulty door lock switch, it will interrupt the power flow to the MCU. You should also check the drive system for damaged or worn parts and check the wiring between the MCU and the CCU. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!

Washer leaking
Opened the front panel with 3 crews T-25 or socket wrench. Panel comes off right away.

Look for the leak. Determined it was the hose. Use power pliers to remove the clamp.

The small clamp was easy. The big one I had to use my yoga to get to it. It probably would had been easy from the back panel but moving the machine requires brute force.

Once the hose was out I found some bra under wires which is what probably punctured the hose.

Removed the front filter and found a bunch of nails.

Assembly was much easier and placed clamps so that if needed it would be a lot easier to remove and replace.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
