My washer is giving me error f9e1
For model number WFW75HEFW0
Hello Niomi,
Thank you for your question. If F9 E1 (drain pump system problem - long drain) appears in display, the washer is taking too long to drain water, and the drain hose would need to be checked for any clogging or signs of incorrect installation. If after inspecting the problem persists, the drain pump for your model under part PS11756700 would be defective and would need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
5.2 cu ft iec front end loader. This washer has annoying beeps and now the door locking will not unlock after a wash. The technician said the beeping came from the detergent dispenser when the washer spun out. I have said it was the control panel from the beginning. We have put an air value on the drainage pipe because we told the washer needs air to drain. I know this more than one question. Please if anyone can give us an answer we would greatly appreciate. Thank you.

Hi Sharon,
Thank you for your question. If the door will not unlock after a wash cycle, select DRAIN & SPIN to remove any water remaining in the washer. The washer door will unlock at the end of the drain. For more information, you will need to consult your owner's manual or contact the manufacturer. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

My new washers throwing 2 codes F9 and E1 last night it leaked from the bottom also
For model number WFW75HEFW0
Hello Anne, thank you for reaching out. The F9E1 error code indicates that the washer is not draining in a timely manner. We suggest you check the drain hose for obstructions and verify their installation. If this does not fix the problem, replace the drain pump, part number PS11756700, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
The washer has a code f5 e2 and stops at 11 minutes and just runs never going down . The code says door latch but it spins just not high speed

Hello Danny, thank you for your question. The F5 E2 alert indicates the washer can't engage the lid lock because there may be an obstruction in the lid lock area. Please check the lid lock area and remove any objects in that area. If there is nothing there replace the latch as something is not connecting to let the unit know the door is closed. I hope this helps .

Hi! I have a question about my duet washer. I got error code f9e1 and i resolved it by clearing the clogged drain pump filter. Then...i immediately got error code f3e1 "water level system error". the error will clear and i can run cycles, but the washer will not drain. sometimes the f3e1 code comes back up. i swapped out the water level pressure switch with another one from a similar washer and checked the pressure hose and air trap - all good and secured properly. also i checked the drain hose for obstructions and that's fine too. and lastly i checked the resistance of the pump motor from the leads at the control board with a multi meter and it was 20 ohms (this test was from the service tech manual inside the washer). washer still won't drain. so what can i do now? i suspect the control board... or maybe the pump is seized?

Hi Matthew,
Thank you for your question. If you have followed all of these steps and the washer will still not drain, then you will need to replace the electronic control board. The part number listed under your model number for the electronic control board is PS12349094. If you would like to place an order for it, you may order it either online or by calling our customer service line and anyone will be happy to assist you. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
First some background. The door locked up the first time when appliance was less than one year old. The "Maytag Repairman" finally succeeded in getting the door open after propping up the front of the machine and fumbling around underneath for a period of time and then assured me the problem was solved. The problem recurred less than a year later, and I called another repairman who seemed to have an easier time of it, and charged $293.42 to replace the water level switch. About six months later the same problem recurred and I took the cover off the top of the machine and found there a booklet "For Service Technician's Use Only". VERY HELPFUL. Told how extremely easy it was to unlock door - took about five seconds. Replacing the switch itself involved pulling one tubing off and disconnecting one elec connection from old switch and replacing on new switch. Total cost $50 plus a few dollars for shipping.
Turned washer on its side. Pulled the bottom plate off. Then unplugged the electrical lines. Then unbolted the drain pump and bolted the new drain pump in. Then reversed the process.
