The washer will not go into high spin but does complete the cycle with no error codes displayed. Washes, drains, rinses, drains...then goes into a low spin. This occurs frequently, but not all the time. When it does happen, I let the washer with the wet clothes inside sit for a time...sometimes overnight. then, I select a cycle (most of the time drain and spin cycle) and it works fine....goes into high spin and then again...sometimes it does not. It may take two or three cycles for it to finally go into a high spin. I do not see any water in the washer, no error codes come up, the clothes are just sopping wet. can you tell me which part I need to replace?

Hi Becky, Thank you for your question. If the washer is spinning slowly, the belt or pulley may be damaged or worn or you may have an issue with the lid switch or the motor. To verify what is causing the issue, you will need to take the washer apart. Before you do this, make sure the washer has been unplugged and then remove any items that are in the washer. Check to see if there are objects in the washer preventing the agitator from moving and check between the inner and outer tubs as well. If there are any items preventing the agitator from working, remove them. To inspect the pump motor, you will need to remove the back panel. If there are objects in the pump, remove them. While you are checking the pump, check the belt and the pulley for signs of damage or wear. If these items are damaged, they should be replaced. Try doing a cycle with a small load and the recommended amount of detergent to see if the washer will spin normally. You will need to test the lid switch with a multi-meter to see if it is working. Disconnect your appliance from the power source before beginning, and then remove the top panel or cabinet to access the switch. Once you have located the switch, verify that the switch is being activated mechanically and that any levers or actuators are not damaged or sticking., then the switch may be defective. If the switch is being activated but there is no power being supplied to the motor or water valve circuits, remove the switch from the washer to check it for continuity. With your multi-meter on the Rx1 setting, touch the probes to the terminals, then press and hold the switch button down. You should receive a reading of zero. If you do not receive this reading, you will need a replacement lid switch. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

Set washer on, let's say normal cycle, door locks, (door locked red light is on), draining/unlocking light flashes. Green start light is on. Drum rolls one turn and stops. Clock says 50 minutes. Timer counts down but washer never starts. Sometime washer works fine. At the end of a wash cycle the timer gets stuck on 1 minute. Push cancel, turn dial to off, door will unlock. Sometime you can only wash one load of clothes and then it does above routine. Sometime you can was one load one day, wait until the next day then it will work. Maybe for one more load or maybe not at all. You can press the cancel/drain button, you can hear pump come on, turn to off door will unlock. Some settings want work at all. Like the clean washer setting. Hope i have given you enough detail. Thank you. William

Good Day Rita. Thank you for your question in regards to your unit (Model Number WFC7500VW2). Based on our research, we have found the following information: A09” on display (Water Inlet Problem—no water or insufficient water supply). When this error occurs, we recommend doing the following: 1) Unplug washer/disconnect power. 2) Check to see if water faucets are completely turned on. Check to see if screens at inlet hose connection to washer are clogged. 3) Check to see if water inlet hoses are kinked or frozen. 4) Plug in washer/Reconnect power. Press and hold START to continue the cycle or press and hold CANCEL/DRAIN to cancel the cycle.

My washer has a F07 fault code. Is this for the mother board?
For model number WFC7500VW2
PartSelect logo
Hello Janis, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the error code F07 indicates an issue with the electronic control board, part number PS11749949. We would suggest checking the wiring connections between the drive motor and the control board. If there is no issue with the wiring, the control board itself might be faulty. Checking the control board for continuity using a multimeter might help. Good luck with the repair!

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

Both outside door handles turned very beige
Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you
