I keep getting a dc error code. I'm assuming that it has something to do with the lock since it won't start filling. All other components of the washer seem to be ok. What part (s) should i get to fix the problem? I see you have a door locking latch in stock. Is that the part needed? Thank you.

Hello Melanie, Thank you for your inquiry. A DC code error on a Samsung washing machine indicates that the washer is unable to spin due to a load imbalance and the clothes will not spin around as they should. You want to make sure your load is balanced and not overfilled. Next check the leveling legs to make sure the washer is leveled correctly. Next we recommend checking the shock dampers/absorbers in the front and back. Good luck with your repair.
Take pics every step, easier re-assembly. Dismantled washer keeping bolt/screw section removed compartmentalized in a tackle box in the order of removal. Replaced drum support, bearings, seal, old blots. Too much to write but I was able to do it all in about 4 hours once all the parts finally came in.
