Water comes in to dishwasher but it doesn't go through the spray arm to wash dishes. What part do i need to fix that problem
For model number WDF520PADW7
PartSelect logo
Hello Rick, Thank you for your question. Our sources suggest replacing the spray arms themselves to fix the issues, since the water is still flowing through to the dishwasher, the only thing keeping the water from spraying is the sprayer itself. We hope this helps.

Symptom is dishwasher stops mid-cycle. I can jump start the cycle by opening the door, wait for the start/resume light to blink, then close the door, and press start/resume. Sometimes this takes a few times to work. I checked the door latch mechanism and the connectors to the control box. I have reset the dw by removing power for over a minute. It worked the first time, but it's not working now. Also, the heater element is broken (failed continuity check) but we are in a rental, so it hasn't been replaced yet.

Hello Joel, thank you for your question. The heating element being broken is probably causing the unit to stop mid cycle. We would recommend replacing the element and if that doesn't fix the problem we would recommend testing the sensor, PartSelect Number: PS12070543 and the thermostat PartSelect Number: PS11743423. I hope this helps.

My dishwasher stopped heating the water and drying the dishes. I changed out the heater element. Then, when I tried to run a cycle, the start/resume light came on solid and then started blinking and nothing happened. I changed out the door switch and still nothing. I have tried to run diagnostics, but I cannot get anything to happen. Still a blinking light and nothing else. What is my next move?

Hi Jim, Thank you for your question. If you have replaced the heating element and the dishwasher is still not heating or drying the dishes, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the high limit thermostat, the door latch and the electronic control board. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My filters had completely clogged up with hard deposits and food left on the dishes after running the dishwasher.
My filters had completely clogged up and had not cleaned my filters at all which was a no-no.I had lots of food left on the dishes after running my dishwasher, so I took bothp filters out and replaced them no tools required. I won’t be using powdered or liquid detergent for my dishwasher anymore only pods and promise to clean my filters once a month, so hopefully that’ll help keep them clean. Very easy replacement even for an old woman.
