I just bought this dishwasher about a year ago. It will fill with water, but won't wash. It will drain as well. I checked all of the filters and the pump and they are working. I think it's the motor maybe because when after it's done filling with water I hear a "clicking" noise under the dishwasher but then nothing happens. Do you recommend ordering a new motor? I'm so upset that it didn't last more than a year. Is that normal for these? Thank you for your help. ~Amanda

Hello Amanda, Thank you for the question. This is normally an indication the Circulation Pump and Motor is faulty and may need to be replaced. If the Pump and Motor are good, the Control Board could also be skipping the Wash Cycle. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
When there is foul smell coming from inside does this mean I have to replace filter? If so, where is the filter located and how to replace it?

Hello Lindamarie, thank you for reaching out to us. A foul smell from inside your dishwasher is almost always caused by trapped food particles, grease, or stagnant water. Start with the filter cup assembly, part number PS11759673, at the bottom of the tub. Remove the bottom rack, twist out the filter cup, and scrub it under hot water with an old toothbrush and dish soap to remove any slimy buildup. Check the sump area underneath for food chunks or stagnant water, and pop out the spray arms to confirm none of the holes are clogged. Next wipe down the door gasket, paying close attention to the very bottom edge of the door as this spot never gets washed during a cycle and is a prime location for grease and black grime buildup. A damp cloth with a vinegar and water mix cleans it effectively. Once everything is physically cleaned, place a bowl filled with two cups of white vinegar on the top rack and run a hot cycle with no detergent. Follow up by scattering a cup of baking soda across the tub floor and running a short hot cycle to fully neutralize any remaining odor. We hope this information helps!
Wondering if upper spray rack utilizes a rubber seal when wash rack slides against the back wall. Bowls loaded in upper rack not getting totally clean. Maybe loosing some water pressure if not “sealing” against the back inlet tube stub?

Hi Stephen, thank you for your question! The spray arm rotates and sprays water during the operating cycle. If your dishes are not coming out of the dishwasher clean, you may have a malfunctioning middle spray arm, part number PS11755664. Good luck with your repair!
Bought this dishwasher a little over a year ago and now notice water on the floor in front of the unit. When I reach under the door panel I can feel that the insulation in the door is wet. Where Is this coming from and is it an 'easy' fix?
For model number WDF520PADM9
Hello Tom, thank you for reaching out. There can be a few parts that are the culprit of a leaking dishwasher. We recommend that you check the drain hose, door gasket, and inlet fill hose for any damage, and replace the defective part to resolve your problem. We have also attached relevant videos to assist you with the replacement. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of assistance!
Hi Lt, thank you for getting in touch. There may be just enough pressure for the spray arm on the bottom to operate normally, but not quite enough to reach the top. A kink in the dishwasher hose or low water pressure can cause this. Check the inlet hose and water inlet valve for clogging. If water pressure is good, the upper sprayer arm, part number PS11755664, can be broken or clogged. We would recommend checking it to fix the issue. We hope this is helpful!
I called an experienced plumber, who balanced and installed my new dishwasher properly, using the brackets I ordered from Parts Select, after an INEXPERIENCED plumber had tossed the factory-provided mounting brackets out with the shipping carton. Relief!
