I just bought this dishwasher about a year ago. It will fill with water, but won't wash. It will drain as well. I checked all of the filters and the pump and they are working. I think it's the motor maybe because when after it's done filling with water I hear a "clicking" noise under the dishwasher but then nothing happens. Do you recommend ordering a new motor? I'm so upset that it didn't last more than a year. Is that normal for these? Thank you for your help. ~Amanda

Hello Amanda, Thank you for the question. This is normally an indication the Circulation Pump and Motor is faulty and may need to be replaced. If the Pump and Motor are good, the Control Board could also be skipping the Wash Cycle. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Wondering if upper spray rack utilizes a rubber seal when wash rack slides against the back wall. Bowls loaded in upper rack not getting totally clean. Maybe loosing some water pressure if not “sealing” against the back inlet tube stub?

Hi Stephen, thank you for your question! The spray arm rotates and sprays water during the operating cycle. If your dishes are not coming out of the dishwasher clean, you may have a malfunctioning middle spray arm, part number PS11755664. Good luck with your repair!

Top rack not getting clean
For model number WDF520PADM9
PartSelect logo
Hi Lt, thank you for getting in touch. There may be just enough pressure for the spray arm on the bottom to operate normally, but not quite enough to reach the top. A kink in the dishwasher hose or low water pressure can cause this. Check the inlet hose and water inlet valve for clogging. If water pressure is good, the upper sprayer arm, part number PS11755664, can be broken or clogged. We would recommend checking it to fix the issue. We hope this is helpful!
