SCE30600WC Jenn-Air Range - Instructions

First I disconnected the power at the breaker box.
Then I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the old element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Then connected the two wires to the new element, pushed it back into place, then fastened in place with the two holding screws. Reconnected the power and tested and all worked fine.

Unplug power cord, remove wires from block. take 2 screws out. replace with new block about 15 mins. Done

My father and I disconnected the electricity, took the old heating element out. This caused the most trouble as the old connections were impossible to loosen. But once we did, it was easy to get the new ones hooked on and the whole thing back together in less than an hour!

1. Unscrewed glass cover on bulb
2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes

Removed two screws, unplugged the old unit, plugged in the new, screwed the new in. Job done. Would have been less than five minutes if I hadn't kept dropping the screws.

Our oven quit working again. I called the repair(dealer) man and he said we needed a new control panel. It would cost $180.00 and labor would be $60. The total repair would be $240.00. It was a terminal block for only $20.00. I didn't even know what a terminal block was, what it looked like or where on the range to find it. But I went again to your video and I learned quickly what to do. I ordered the part and it came in two days. I made the repair in about 15 min. My wife was very happy that the repair worked. Our total cost was about $80. The $240 quote would not have fixed the oven anyway. The repairman was wrong. I was very happy with the results and the money we saved.. Good Job PartSelect and thanks.

Turn off the power, unscrew the two screws holding the element. Without any tool, pull the wires off the connectors. and remove the bad element.
Connect the new element. push into place, and screw it in.
Maximum 15 minutes, and didn't get my hands dirty.

I turned off the breaker for the oven. Then I unscrewed the 2 screws holding the element in and pulled the element out. I unhooked the wires from the element and put the new element in. Reconected the wires, pushe it back into place and replaced the 2 screws. Turned the breaker back on and it works GREAT! Way easy!!! ...even for a girl!

First turned the breaker off. Then I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Reconnected the wires the new element, slid back in nd reiserted the two screws and tightened it all up. Flipped the breaker back and back in business.

Removed two phillips head screws, pulled the element out until the prongs were exposed, pulled off the wire connectors and removed the bad element. After plugging the wires onto the new element, I pushed it back in and replaced the two screws. Easy job! Your web site is wonderful!

We had a wood tray in the oven (yes i know) and it is a two stacked oven and turned the wrong oven to broil. The fire was put out quickly but the Latch door switch and assembly was damaged.
The 3D breakout of the appliance made it a jiffy to select the correct part numbers. Shipping is very good from Parts Select.
The Front assembly for the lower oven comes out with 6 screws. Disconnect the Door Switch Connector push it out and replace that. The Latch Assembly requires a small wrench. It is a bad design but patience will get you there. Once the assembly is out disconnect electrical connectors. Don't worry each connector is unique I advice do it one for one.
Overall you need a skill of three stars out of five to complete this task

I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.

Installed new thermostat. Went well. Now the oven comes on and it takes 2.5 hours to come up to 250 degrees. Help!
