stripe down ctr of side by side refrigerator
unplugged first, then Pulled out frig and took out fan motor. plugged in to be sure it worked. waited few minutes and it started running. then placed everything back where it belonged. Talked to appliance store and told me what the problem was but it would take longer for them to get then for me to order on line. Best way to get it done... No directions on box...

Lever Dispenser-Ice Was Broken.
Using the putty knife, pry off the faceplate for the ice/water dispenser. Disconnect the wire harness. Using philips head screwdriver, remove the dispenser assembly. Remove the old dispenser and replace. Reverse for reassembly. Note * I should have bought the water dispenser lever and replaced it as well since I had the assembly out. Secondary note * be mindful during reassembly to not put pressure on the water dispenser or have a glass handy. :)
