Hello Kenny, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: the monitor and secondary door switch, microwave control board, control panel assembly, the thermal cut out thermostat, and the fan thermostat. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. For safety reasons, since the microwave capacitor can still store electricity even when the microwave is unplugged, it is usually advised that you discharge the capacitor before any attempt at repair. We have included a link on how to do so. https://www.partselect.com/Microwave+discharge-capacitor+repair.htm Good luck with your repair.

Microwave door switches. Your diagram does not match my switch assembly. Which is the upper switch and lower switch? WB24X830 or WB24X829. I started with a turntable that continued running when the door opened (microwave worked). After changing both switches now the turntable spins when the door is closed and the microwave doesn’t heat (run) anymore. All I did was change the switches. Upper Switch was defective.

Hi Toong, thank you for the question. According to our research, the upper switch is the monitor door switch, part number PS237422, and the lower switch is the secondary door switch, part number PS237421. You may need to check if you have installed the switches correctly. We hope this is what you are looking for!

Just for others changing door switches…diagram is not correct (or not clear). There are 3 switches - 1 x WB24X830 and 2 x WB24X829. Upper switch is …829, middle is …830, and lower is …829. Easy to mix up. Change one switch at a time.

Hello Toong, Thank you for contacting us. While we receive our parts diagrams directly from the manufacturer, it does mention that there are two of the secondary door switches used and one of the monitor door switch-which is the middle switch. We hope this helps you.

Microwave completely stopped working
Turned out the issue was easily solved by replacing a single, inexpensive fuse.

First off, UNPLUG THE MICROWAVE.

The fuse is located under the plastic grill at the top of the microwave. It's held on by two screws. Once you've removed the screws and taken off the plastic grill, you go to the right side of the microwave and remove another screw that holds a small metal grill in place. Removing the small metal grill is probably the toughest part of this repair. You kind of have to rock it back and forth a bit to get it to release. Once that's off, you can get to the fuse. I removed the burnt out one with a pair of needle nose pliers. I also put a small piece of cardboard under the fuse when I did this so I didn't accidentally drop it into the innards of the microwave. I did the same thing when I replaced the new fuse. I then plugged the appliance back in and made sure it worked. Once that was confirmed, I replaced both grills.
