Freezing under deli draw
For model number PFSS6PKXGSS
Hi Frank, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the issue might be caused by a frozen or damaged drain line that channels the water from the defrost cycle to a drain pan. If the tube becomes obstructed, water might back up and spill over into the bottom of the refrigerator. It is recommended to empty the cabinets and let the refrigerator thaw out completely. Removing the evaporator cover assembly, and pouring hot water down the drain hole until it's draining properly again, might solve the issue. If the problem still occurs, the defrost heater, part number PS2340403, might be faulty. We hope this information helps!
Unscrew old filter and remove(counterclockwise). Line up arrow on new filter with arrow on connection housing. Turn clockwise till resistance met. Do not overtighten. Follow directions. Simple.
First, I have to say I live in the next state over, and I recieved the parts the next day. Yeah! OK, I removed the adjacent drawers *and the removable lower storage shelves on the doors for clearance*. Taking out the broken lid is easy. The new one is a tight fit. The right side has a raised pad on the pivot point, but the left one does not. I worked the peg (pivot point) in on the right side and slowly and carefully pushed the stationary plastic left side in slightly(and sprung the lid slightly) to get enough clearance to get in the left peg without breaking the new lid pivot. While doing this, one has to make sure the shelf immediately behind the lid is in place since there are support tabs located on it, and you will have to rework the thing if you don't get them to mate on the installation.
