PFCF1NFZCSS General Electric Refrigerator - Instructions

Took out the MFW filter.
Screwed in the MFW bypass.
Dispensed several gallons of water.
Saw good flow of water.
Removed MFW bypass.
Replaced MFW filter.
Our water flow was back to normal.

Totally followed the instructions of the video that came with the sensor. Unplugged the the fridge, defrosted the freezer. Cut off the main sensor that usually is the one that goes out. Installed the the new sensor with new wire terminals, crimped them and covered with electrical tape. Fridge works like a charm. Partsselect is excellent. Saved me a few hundred dollars versus having a GE Tech come and do it.

So we ordered a replacement "PS2577898 GLASS COVER Vegetable PAN" and they sent us the wrong part. It sort of fits over the vegetable drawers, but our GE Fridge model has curved sides and these guys sent us a glass cover that is a perfect rectangle, which sticks out above the grooves where it's supposed to go. After a month of waiting, though, we just didn't care anymore and decided to use the part that arrived. Asking for the correct replacement may take us into 2021...

We didn't think the dispenser problem was related to the filter - we were wrong! It took less than two minutes, including opening the box and unwrapping the filter. I'll definitely be changing my filter more often - and buying it through PartSelect. Your ordering was so easy and delivery was unbelievably fast!

Un Plugged the frig. Unlocked the socket by pressing down on the latch. Pulled the socket out ensuring I had enough slack. Unplugged the old socket installed the new. Plugged the frig back in. Tested the switch . Very easy-to-use.

It was way to ez to install only a couple of minutes that's it

took a little more effort than the video show to remove old module and replace new. Works fine now.

Just turn the cartilage out and put the new one. Very simple

pluged the wire harness into the new socket from the back and snaped the socket in place.

Pulled the two wires out from the access hole in the lower part of the refrigerator. Put them in the spade connectors on the new switch, and pushed the switch into place.

it was easy. Open the fridge,untwist the old filter. Open the new filter, fill with tap water and twist in place. Run water through it for a few minutes to insure it is working and filters the water.

Frig parts had been scavenged in an apartment complex. Restoring socket was only a matter of plugging in two spade contacts and clipping in socket.

I watched the video, and noticed that they did not even turn off the water. The replacement took less than 30 seconds once the filter was filled with water.
