Broken knob
On Friday the 13th, after spilling my coffee all over the table, I put the tablecloth in to wash. When I pulled the tablecloth out of the washer & put it into the dryer, I must have been angry at myself because I wrenched the dryer "Start" knob too hard & broke the knob off! I spent a few minutes looking for the part, and found that PartSelect had exactly what I needed at a very reasonable price. Once ordered, I received order confirmation, and, amazingly, the part arrived at my home in less than 24 hours after I broke the knob! Thanks, PartSelect!

Dryer would not start.
First unplug dryer to prevent electrical shock. To remove the front of the dryer, open the door in top left and top right corners is a machine screw. They can be removed with a Phillips screw driver. Lift the top slightly and let front fall forward about 6 inches, lift slightly. Two wire will be connected to the switch in the door. remove the wires and squeeze the tabs on both sides of the switch and push it out. Push new switch in to replace old switch and reassemble.

broken dryer handle
My husband broke the door handle, but of course, i had to be the one to order the part & fix it. I ordered the part on the weekend and much to my suprise it was on my doorstep on Tuesday when I got home from work. Then I saw the part was shipped from nearby Louisville. I was overly happy with partselect!!!!! All I did was open the packaging and clip the dryer handle into the 4 holes. Easy as pie!!!!

The Front Drum Glides wore out
I first unplugged the unit, opened the top, disconnected and took off the control panel, took off the front panel to determine the source of the squeaking noise coming from the Dryer. I saw that 3 of the 4 Front Drum Glides were gone and the drum had worn away significant amounts of plastic from the Top Bearing Assembly. I purchased the Top Bearing Assembly and a set of 4 Front Drum Glides. Disassembled the damaged parts and reassembled with the new replacement parts. The reassembly took less than 20 minutes. I plugged in the Dryer and viola! It works as good as new.

timer doesn't move
It was amazingly simple and I am not even a handy man by any means. The only difficult part was pulling the cable connections as they are a bit tight. I was glad that I could accomplish this task for which the repair person was demanding $120.
Most of these things are doable it's just that common folk are just too scared to even try them out. I figured rather than going out to buy a new dryer for $500 ( and if my wife had her way, $1000) I could give it a shot for $80.

Timer would not move.
After reading comments made by other customers, I ordered the timer and it arrived 3 days later. I used a star bit with the electric screw driver to open the top of the dryer. I removed all the dials and pulled open the top cover of the dryer. I carefully lifted the "tang" that kept the timer in place and turned the timer clockwise. I then used my cell phone camera and took picutres of all the connections so that it would be easier to reconnect the wireing to the new timer. I disconnected the wiring from the old timer and reconnected them to the new timer. I inserted the tang place in place and rotated the time timer counter clockwise. I then placed the cover back on, inserted the star screws and tighten them down. I put back all the dails and the dryer is working perfectly since. Took about 30 mins. I'm very pleased with the delivery of the timer and the ease of the installation. I will use Part Select as my sole supplier for all future repairs on my appliances. Part Select is Number 1 in my book!!!!

Timer wouldn't shut off
This repair was the easiest that I've ever done. Removed 4 torx head screws on the back and the timer unsnapped from its holder. I unplugged one wire at a time and plugged each one to the new timer. This part came the next day after I ordered it and PartSelect was cheaper than any other supplier.

handle fell off
stuck it back in the holes just like the original handle. Had to do a little adjustment because I put screwdriver in them too many times to open the door after the original handle feel off, so the fit was loose. Fixed with tape.

Plastic handle in dryer broke off.
All I neede to do was buy the new part and snap it into place on the door. The hardest part was making the door usable while waiting for a new handle. The solution was good old duct tape. I just taped the old broken handle in place until the new one showed up.
