MFI2269VEW10 Maytag Refrigerator - Instructions

Pop loose the plastic grate at the bottom.

Locate and remove the wheel leveling screw from the front bottom corner.

Remove cotter pin from the pin that mounts the wheel assembly to the refrigerator. Tap out the mounting pin.

Lift out the wheel assembly.

Remove the Roller pin from the wheel assembly. I used a Dremel tool with a cutting disk. A hack saw will also probably work.

Install the new roller pin and wheel into the wheel assembly. Use a hammer or vice to peen over the end of the roller pin.

Reinstall and adjust wheel assembly.

Removed the old switch removed the spade terminals from the old switch and replaced them on the new switch and just pushed the new switch back in place

It is simple, unscrew the old screw in the new one.

I began by comparing new gaskets to old gaskets to determine placement. I thenremoved all gaskets around doors. They pulled off easily. I then cleaned and dried all the places where the new gaskets would go. I then replaced each gasket taking care to replace exactly as the had been removed. There were flaps on the French door which had a specific placement. You must be flexible and be able to lay on the floor to secure the bottom freezer gasket. All gaskets were misshapex from the box and needed to be heated in place by the hairdryer before a good seal could be acheived.

Lower the filter bottom housing to gain access to the filter. Unscrew the filter and install the bypass cap. Secure the lower filter housing to the top assembly.

Removed the top door hinge cover.
Remover the four 12mm hex screws.
Lifted empty door off bottem hinge support.
Removed old door closure.
Put some silicon lub on the new closure and installed.
Reversed the removal steps.

But this did not fix the problem. Will have to remove the door and inspect the inside of the door's lower hinge assembly.

You need to lift up the glass part and simply fit it the center rail in, very simple

pop open, unscrew quarter turn, screw new one in quarter turn, pop shut. duh

Very simple. Matched female plugs with respective male color coded prong; pushed together then inserted unit in slot of freezer sidewall and rotated into position...job done.

Removed back panel. Removed the clip securing the parts with long nose pliers. Unplugged the old, replugged the new. Replaced the clip to secure.

Unfortunately, the capacitor and relay did not fix the loud clicking issue.

No instructions came with the parts, however, on the website where we ordered the parts was a video that walked you through every step. We followed the video and had the repair done in no time.

I bought a set of appliances used online and the fridge door did not align to the other door. I called the installer of my filter unit and he told me that often, thhe fridge filter is the problem. Like magic it worked
