Can these ac window units be recharged with freon? Mine has quit cooling

Hello Mike, thank you for your query. According to our research, a window air conditioner can be recharged. The correct refrigerant will be needed, along with HVAC gauges. Before that, we would recommend checking the thermistor, part number PS3528976, to fix the issue. It monitors temperatures and communicates the temperature to the control board. If it is faulty, the air conditioner may not cool. We hope this solves your problem!
very tight working situations. made a mistake with a delicate piece of the fan and broke it and that rendered the part unuseful. Since I broke it I considered it to be my fault and just threw it away. Ordered another from another company hoping that just maybe it would be more durable. It arrived in only 4 days.
