My 2015 LG gas range is overheating no matter what temp I set it to. Do you know what I can do for this? ie: no matter what temp oven is set to, it heats to 400+ degrees.
For model number LRG3095ST
Hello Kathy, thank you for your question. The overheating of an oven can be due to is a damaged or loosened thermostat knob. Or, it may be the Thermostat PS11732697 inside your oven as it measures and regulates the heat to ensure that the oven cooks at a consistent temperature without getting too hot.

Hi William, Thank you for writing. The F11 error code on an LG gas range could indicate a faulty igniter. Other potential causes include a stuck button on the control panel or a faulty temperature sensor. We hope this helps!
Took off the oven door then took out the racks and two screws in the oven bottom and removed it . Then removed the heat deflector. Then un plugged the old igniter and removed the burner to make it easier to remove the old igniter. Then installed the new igniter and reversed the process
As soon as my husband put it in the oven, the very thin prongs broke. There was no guard on either side of the prongs for protection like the one that had been in there. Very costly to us of $185 with no fix. Very disappointed in that ignitor. It would have been an easy fix. Had replaced one previously but it only lasted 6 months. Now we have a new stove
i removed the oven door by lifting the safety latches on each hinge and gently lifted the door off. once off i could access the 2 large phillips head screws and loosened and removed them. then i simply slid out the old and slid in the new & reversed the process.
