code 44 my unit does not haver outdoor thermister

Hi Steven, thank you for reaching out. We have found that the error code 44 shows that the outdoor unit inlet air thermistor has disconnected or has shorted out. We recommend replacing the thermistor, part number PS7792309, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
