My fan assemble has become very noisy. Sounds like it is loose or off balanced. When I turn the unit off,it takes a few seconds to actually go off. I am not sure that the two issues are related. The unit still runs and heats properly.
For model number LP150HED-Y8
Hello Karmen, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the fan blades for damage first. If the fan blades are fine, then you may need to check the fan motor to solve the problem. A damaged and malfunctioning fan motor can cause these issues. We looked up the fan motor, and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for the discontinued part number 4681A20064N. If they offer a new part number, please feel free to check back with us. We hope this helps.

Blower fan motor not working. Partselect representative he guide me. Make sure new motor diameter is wide. Purchase motor with mounting bracket. Old motor bracket will not working . my Ptac after installing new motor running smoothly.
Pulled PTAC out of wall sleeve, unhook wire harness from control area, remove condenser shroud and motor and fan blade all at the same time. Replaced motor bracket and re-installed in reverse order.
