LFXS24566S (00) LG Refrigerator - Instructions

Unplugged the frig and removed two phillip screws on flapper door of left door... Unplugged the electrical connector and removed flapper...
Picked up new flapper and snapped electrical contractor together... Slid new flapper bar into place and inserted two phillip screws... Job complete in 15 minutes...

I disconnected the refrigerator power, removed the 2 screws holding the mullion door on the left side of the refrigerator French-door (it’s the flap that allows the door to close). Removed the broken spring and installed the replacement spring in its place. Reinstalled the mullion door by putting it in place and installing the previously removed screws.

1. Remove all food from the shelf and take out the crisper drawers.
2. Remove the glass and take out the crisper frame.
3. Take the screws out of the frame that are holding the cover frame in place and remove the old cover frame..
4. Install the new cover and replace screws.
5. Re- install the drawers and glass.

Installed new one.

Read the reviews from other members and just did as they said. Needed a screw driver and the info from past persons review couldn’t have been easier.

Took 2 screws out and disconnect wire and install new part.

Closed valve to water supply line; Removed contents of top shelf. Removed top shelf by sliding it out. Unscrewed old water filter and screwed in new filter. Replaced to shelf and contents in reverse order. Opened water supply line.

Made installation of the new part a piece of cake. Easy peasy!! Took less than 10 minutes.

Removed ice bin
Unscrew the 3 screws.
Lift ice maker for the bottom to remove it but do not pull it until the power is unplug from the part.
Install the new part the same way you removed the old part.
Turn the switch and waiting 48 hours before the ice bin start getting ice

Scary not hard. But pry panel out start at bottom or right side and pull. and was told from tube video that lg said if you break a few tabs that was normal and not to worry there is plenty. I think I broke one but after repair just pushed it back into place and it is good as new. The broken part was obvious and easy to replace. Just go for it

Removed the old one and replaced with new just remember do your do diligence watch YouTube videos makes repair a lot easier

remove all trays from refrigerator , remove screw holding rail and install new rail.

Took the old one out and put the new one in.

I just followed the instruction on the part , and everything was very easy.

i changed the filter and was able to get water to the white coil at the bottom of the dispenser (left door) but could never get water to the icemalker.i also replaced the pump at the bottom of the door as well as the green ebr699172 dispenser electrical board.still can not get water to the icemaker.any help will be greatly appreciated.
