LFC25765ST (ASTCNA0) LG Refrigerator - Instructions

Replaced both gaskets on French style doors. Note: left and right gaskets are different part numbers. Had to remove flapper door to change the left gasket and all 3 wires on the flapper were broke. Replaced flapper door. Also found cover on top of the door hinge loose. Has a button on it that tells ice maker door is closed. Shuts off the water to the ice maker when door is open. Never knew that! Ice maker is now working again. P.S. gaskets are very easy to change. After removing 2 screws on flapper door, you need to tap it up in order to remove it.

I am a73 year old woman. If I can do this, anyone can. Super easy. Just watch the online video.

Took 2 screws out and disconnect wire and install new part.

Replace with new switch. this is the third switch i have replaced in 10 years. the only part, besides a light bulb, that has gone bad. obviously this is a problem with this model for Kenmore, or just poor switch design.

Installed new one.

Read the reviews from other members and just did as they said. Needed a screw driver and the info from past persons review couldn’t have been easier.

My son just pried out the old switch with a screw driver snapped out the old one and snapped in the new one. Pretty sure even I could have done this. Very quick and easy. Thanks. :-)

Cover the putty knife with tape so you do not scratch the side wall where the switch is located. Slide the knife under the edge of the switch and push in a bit towards the switch and slightly twist to pop the switch out of its hole. Disconnect the wires from the switch and simply plug in the new switch. Push wiring back into the hole and careful push the switch into the hole until it snaps into place.

i changed the filter and was able to get water to the white coil at the bottom of the dispenser (left door) but could never get water to the icemalker.i also replaced the pump at the bottom of the door as well as the green ebr699172 dispenser electrical board.still can not get water to the icemaker.any help will be greatly appreciated.

Unplugged the fridge. Used a screwdriver to loosen the switch. Easy to disconnect from fridge and just plugged the new switch in. Popped right back into the side of the fridge and worked perfectly.

I popped the old switch out of place and then disconnected the wire harness from the switch with a pair of needle nose pliers. I then inserted the harness into the new switch and popped the switch into place. Super easy and fast.

replaced the ice maker with the new assembly kit, the longest time taken was to fit back the pull out door .. had to align the slots correctly and check that it slid back and forth easily.

unfortunately my fridge stopped working. I purchased another but wanted to try and repair the old one. when ew one arrived, the old one was supposed to be put in garage but instead was hauled away. Had delivery return next day but they had as already removed and lost the handle screw for the bottom freezer and the screw that holds handle in place. ordered the handle screw and picked up the nut. very simple to install the screw and put handle back on.
