When i push the start button on high on the front and rear right burners, neither one heat up. The left side is working fine. What could this be?
For model number LDE3011ST
Hello Steve, thank you for your question. That issue would be caused by either faulty burners, or the burner control switch board. We would recommend testing the elements and if they are fine, the board should be replaced which is PartSelect Number PS3645627. I hope this helps.

I have one burner not functioning, i believe it was slowly starting to fade and now does not emit any heat when turned on. All other 3 burners work appropriately. I'm led to believe that i need a new heating element as opposed to a circuit board as its only one burner. Do you have recommendations on trying to identify what the actual issue is?

Hi Mickey, thank you for contacting us. Most probably, the issue is related to the radiant surface element, part number PS3527756, power 1200W, or another one, part number PS3527757, power 2500W. If this does not fix the issue check the connection of the wire to the required burner. We hope this solves your problem!
I have one burner that clicks on but the heating element doesn't consistently react. Say I place it on 5, it heats up to 5, clicks off, cools and to heat back to 5 it clicks on but the element doesn't become red. It seems to go back and forth like this with it typically not heating at all. The burner usually doesn't come on when turned on either, but if left on you see it heat once in a while as it cycles through its on and off to maintain a temperature.
Also noted that when you shut it off, it no longer notifies you with HS on display for the burner still being a hot surface. Only 1 burner of the 4 acts like this. Heating element seems fine, wondering if i need a new thermostat or another electrical part?

Hi Michelle, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the following parts: large surface element, part number PS3527757, and small surface element, part number PS3527756. After checking, you may replace the faulty one. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Please note I recently asked about an issue with an element maintaining heat and kicking on intermittently as it cycles. I have replaced the surface element, large one, with a new one and the issue still consists. Please advise what else could be causing the issue. Thank you!

Initial failure of over range microwave Aug 3rd. Control Panel worked but no heat. Took to local LG authoriaed local repair place. They fixed it quickly and we re-installed it. Worked fine for 2 months then had similar failure again. Agaim took to same authorized repairer. They kept unit for 3 months but finally concluded theu could not fix it and suggested we contact LG for a partial refund. When they tested the unit during re-assembly in my presence, there was a blue flash and the fuse blew. Since we had built a custom tile mural back splash around this unit, I brought it home, ordered a number of time delay fuses new capacitor and two new high voltage diodes. However, using my Fluke DMM, I checked the existing capacitor and high voltage diode and they checked OK so I just replaced the time delay fuse. The high voltage transformer leads had 2 possible ways to connect to capacitor and diode. Tried one way, plugged unit in and turned it on, and immediatly blew the fuse. Replaced the fuse and reversed the high voltage transformer connections, amd turned unit pn, and it worked perfectly. Since we had experienced several power failures during the time of the original failure, the repairer concluded that power spikes might be at fault, so I also purchased a TrippLite ISOBAR4ULTRA 3300 Joule surge protector between wall outlet and microwave, and re-installed over range. It has worked perfectly since.
