My hand mixer speed knob isn’t working it’s the variable speed control I have to unplug the unit for it to stop

Hello Rose, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the wire connections of the knob and ensuring that it is properly attached to the post. If this does not help, we would recommend replacing the knob, part number PS4082761. This Knob is used to control the speeds of the mixer. Basicly all I did was order new mixer beaters for my hand mixer. I live in the south central part of Nebraska on a farm. We are not close to any large towns, so I really appreciate finding the beaters online. The cost of a new hand mixer would be many times more than what I had to give for the parts.
