My microwave keeps pushing buttons on its own and randomly stops working. I reset the power and it starts working again but still pushes buttons without anybody touching the screen and sometimes the touch screen does not work. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated

I replaced the 12 volt, 10 watt halogen surface light bulbs with 12 volt 2 watt led bulbs (g4 bi-pin equivalent). However, the led’s won’t illuminate by themselves. If i install one halogen bulb on one side then both bulbs (led and halogen) illuminate. Are the 2 watt led’s too low of a power to work? Is there something in the lighting circuitry that requires a minimum amount of current flow to light both led bulbs? Appreciate your help and advice!

Hello, Thank you for your question. I would recommend replacing to the correct wattage that is listed for your model. That should be an issue. It could also be the socket where the light goes in. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair.

Hello Daniel, Thank you for the question. Normally this indicates an issue with one more more of the Door Switches. I suggest testing the switches with a multi meter to check for continuity. We hope this helps!

Hello Mike, Thank you for contacting us. I have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you are looking for is PartSelect Number PS11748457. Hope this helps!
There was no "fixing" per say but we still could not use the microwave without the plate. This has to be one of the biggest plates for a microwave. We ordered this through your company and we had it three days later. THREE DAYS! We had expected anywhere from 1-2 weeks. My husband was so impressed he bookmarked your site for future reference. Thank you for being so efficient and prompt. The glass turntable fit like a glove! Sincerely, Mark and Lia Hammond
By pulling the filter screens units down and out with a pair of pliers I had access to the surface lights. Pulled the lights out of their sockets and replaced the bulbs. Real easy. Since the filter units were out, replaced the filters and reinstalled the filter units. The whole operation took less than 15 minutes.
Remove the filters and use a Torx driver to remove two screws holding the motor. The wires on on the motor are held in place by a plastic clamp that must be pried open on one side. That's all it takes to replace the drive motor. Everything else that makes the turntable spin lifts off from inside the microwave.
