Motor base works fine, however the unit does not start when workbowl and related parts are placed on the unit. There is a linkage that works in concert with the work bowl, work bowl cover and food pusher when assembled is supposed to create contact to the safety switch on the base. All parts of the linkage on all components appear to be in order, no broken pieces obvious, however for some reason even though the linkage reaches the safety switch there does not appear to be enough pressure to close the contact of the safety switch to allow the unit to start. The linkage appears to be sealed within each of the components (bowl, and lid) and i am assuming the entire bowl, or the entire lid needs to be replaced? If you are familiar with the workings of this problem, please get back with me. The parts are pretty pricey, and i don't want to replace what is not necessary.Jeff reisman
