The blade assembly is stuck and won't release.
For model number KFC3100OB2
Hi John, thank you for your inquiry. We have researched and found that hard food pieces can get in under the blade and then melt with the heat of operation, which causes the blades to stick. Remove the work bowl cover and unlock the work bowl from the base so that it spins freely. Gently pull up on the work bowl while rotating it around the motor shaft. This will place pressure on the bottom of the blade and may dislodge the blade from the shaft. We hope this solves your problem!

The new parts was the fix. However, I did not realize that the bowl did not come with the lid. So. . . . . . I ordered the lid and now the food processor is working good again. I cannot live without it! Seriously!!!
