Left front burner eye red 'on light' flickers when on and eye comes on very hot even when turned to med or low then recedes to low or off. Temp level very erratic regardless of temp selected. Is eye burning out or temp control an issue? other?

Good morning!!!! I have this Electric Range Model and I need to change it, but I am not sure if is Freestanding Range or a Slide in range. How could I differenciate each of those. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Hello Ana, thank you for contacting us. Your model is a slide-in range. Freestanding ranges feature a backguard with oven controls, burner controls, or both, whereas slide-in ranges display controls that are located on the front of the range or the cooktop surface. Glad to be of assistance!

Hi Klaas, thank you for your inquiry. You will need to replace the left rear infinite switch, part number PS11747407, to fix the issue. The shaft is not a separate part. It is part of the infinite switch that regulates the temperature. We have attached a relevant model video on how to replace the switch. Here is the link: Glad to be of help!

My warming drawer is stuck closed except for about 1 inch with extra frying pans etc. Tried shaking drawer , using spatulas , and a long fork for holding roasts in place as well as a long flat blade used for frosting cakes and cannot dislodge what is stuck. Can you access the warming drawer from the bottom or back of this slide in range? Need help. Thank you very much. Pat LaPorte

Oven runs away with temperature. Display usually says preheating but doesn't reach displayed temp even though separate grill probe keeps climbing on the temp. No errors on display. Ohms reading on probe is 1087 at room temp. Looking for suggestions.

Self Cleaning blows the thermostat fuse
Something Kitchen Aid wont tell you but running a self clean on this model stove blows the fuse located on the back of the stove.

First I slid the stove out and removed the back of the stove held in place by 8 Phillips screws. The thermostat fuse is located near the top middle on the back of the stove. Remove the 2 screws holding it in place. Disconnect the wires, plug in the new part. Put it all back together. Job done in less than 30 minutes.

This repair would have cost $164 through A&E factory service.
