JKP90DP3WW General Electric Microwave Oven Combo - Instructions

1. Removed oven door
2. Took out all screws
3. Took all components of door apart
4. Took out all the ruined insulation
5. Removed double-paned window frame assembly
6. Installed new insulation
7. Replaced window frame assembly
8. Put all components back together again. Put in all screws.
9. Replaced oven door- works like new!

A very simple remove the old one and replace with the new one.
Only tool needed was needle nose pliers to remove old clips..

replaced it with the new one.

Take off 6 screws of back cover of the range, unplug the white wire. Go to the inside of oven, pull out racks. At the top of the oven is your Broiler element, in the center you will see a rod sticking out with one screw holding it in place. Take out screw and pull temperature sensor out toward you. Reverse steps to put it back together.

-unplug
-remove top and front covers
-unplug wire connectors from heating assembly
-remove heating assembly from metal stand and push out of the way
-remove metal stand from dry
-pull out heating assembly
-install new one in reserve order

The oven lamp shattered while cleaning. Easy to replace by hand.

I first read where someone had the same problem. Their solution was a burned-out fuse. I ordered a new fuse...installed it and that did not solve my problem. I revisted PartSelect and read how Marla (from Arlington, TX)solved her problem. I purchased a secondary switch and when it arrived, I made a copy of Marla's instructions and followed them to the letter. I installed the new secondary switch into the secondary space, put everything back together and the oven STILL DID NOT WORK. I had to take the latching panel apart again and test each switch to see if there was another bad one. I found that the third switch was burned out. So I took the new switch out of the second slot and installed it into the third slot. I tested the switches before reinstalling the latching panel. This time everything worked. So I put everything back together, reinstalled the microwave on the wall, tested it again, and everything worked perfectly.

Turned breaker off at panel first. Removed three sheet metal screws holding top control panel with 8mm socket, removed the two 8mm nuts holding the locking mechanism in and one 8 pin plug, replaced with new part. Put back control panel and I was enjoying homemade oatmeal cookies 30 minutes later. We were using a toaster oven for months until I found the part from this site. The GE repair guy wanted $900.00 to fix it. The part was only $165.00 from this site. Thanks folks!

You sent the WRONG part. The pulley wheel was to big and holes had no threads. Had to make modifications because needed to cut grass very badly. NOT HAPPY.

Turn the glass enclosure counterclockwise to expose bulb.Turn the power off at circuit breaker panel.Handle the bulb carefully with paper towel covering the bulb.Push the bulb in socket.replace glass enclosure,turn power back on.

Very fast very easy. Part was exact match!

removed the glass turning plate. removed the broken roller guide. replaced with the new one. I am very happy with not only the ease of fixing the problem, but how quickly I got the replacement part. I will use PartSelect again!!! And I will tell my friends.

Replace the fuses

Unplugged oven, turned off breaker, took cover off back of oven, removed old sensor by disconnecting in back of oven and undoing screw inside oven. Pulled old one out replaced with new took 15min. Cost me less than $20. Parts Select rocks! Even received part in two days with standard shipping!

Once I opened up the back of the range, the sensor wires where there and burnt just like your info said. One nut to take off in the oven and the sensor came right out and the new one went right in. The oven works great, cooked the turkey today. The worst part of the repare was the cleaning behind and under the range, it hasn't moved since it was put in 6 years ago. Very pleased with PS.
