Washer starts off normal but won't fill with water to start wash cycle how do I fix it
For model number GTW335ASN1WW
Hi Hunter,
Thank you for your question. If your washer will not fill with water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the lid switch, the water inlet valve and the selector switches. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts and some others as well. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
Hello Dennis, Thank you for the question. We suggest turning the Cold Water off to see if the water is still filling when the Temperature Control is set to Cold and then doing the same with Hot. If the water still fills then you may have a defective Valve. If it seems to work normally, you may have a defective control board as it is what controls the Water Temperature. We hope this helps!

My washer will not enter spin cycle. It will do everything else but when it’s time to spin, it will not enter spin mode.
For model number GTW335ASN1WW
Hi Casey,
Thank you for your question. If the washer will not spin, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to need to check the motor sensor, the lid switch assembly and the lid lock striker. To test the motor sensor and the lid switch assembly, you will need to use a multimeter. The motor sensor should have a reading around 1 or OL. This is acceptable. If the reading is closer to zero, then it is defective. For the lid switch, set your multi-meter to Rx1, and touch the probes to the terminals. You are testing for continuity you should receive a reading of zero. If you do not get a reading of zero, then it will need to be replaced. You will need to do a visual inspection of the strike to see if it is out of alinement or damaged. We hope this helps!

My washer makes a horribleness noise while agitating, can u tell me what could possibly be causing this noise. Thank you
For model number GTW335ASN1WW
Hello Veronica, Thank you for the question. We suggest removing the Agitator and check inside where the post from the Transmission enters and look for wear or damage. You can also check the Pulley, Mode Shifter and Clutch. We hope this helps!

Drain all the water out of the tub with a shop vac Remove rear drain hose and drained rest of water into a bucket Remove small rear panel (bottom left hand corner) where the drain hose connects Tipped washer up about 45 degrees to get underneath it - Supported it with a few paint cans Remove internal drain hose/clamps from pump - w/ pliers Remove belt cover (gray plastic) with socket - 3 bolts Remove wire assembly plug from socket Remove old drain pump with socket - 3 bolts Install new drain pump - 3 bolts - plug wire assembly into socket Reinstall belt cover - 3 bolts Reinstall hose to drain pump (note panel will be inside washer) Feed drain hose panel through hole and reinstall - 1 nut Re attached drain hose to exterior drain plug You are done !
Very simple to repair. Be sure to drain the tub outside or into the sump pump then lay the washer on its side. The pump is right there on the bottom of the basket with 3 bolts. You will also need to remove the belt cover to get to the plug. So simple and saves you hundreds off repair man prices.
