Hi, when my wash is finished. Water drips into the tank for a while. About 50ml drop to drop.1-is it the valve that is defective? 2-can it cause an imbalance between the difference in flow between cold water and hot water? 3-is this a risk for possible water damage? Thanks' for your answers and sorry for my English. Caroline

Hello Caroline, Thank you for the question. This normally indicates the Water Valve will needs to be replaced. Over time it can leak at a faster rate and cause to over flow over night or if left for a long period of time. If the Hot Water port is the port that is stuck open or leaking it can cause the Cold water fill to be warm and vise versa. We hope this helps!

So I took apart this washer to do a deep clean of the tub, and I noticed that there’s water remaining at the bottom of the tub and that the back hoses are always filled with water. Before I go looking further, is it normal for a little water to always be at the bottom or should it be draining all the way? Thanks!
For model number GTAN2800D1WW
Hello Layne, Thank you for your inquiry. You could have a clog or kink in the hose that could prevent it from draining properly. Check the drain pump as well for any debris that could prevent the water from draining completely and check the hoses for any obstructions. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hello Glenn, thank you for reaching out. One of the most common reasons your washer makes banging sounds during the spin cycle is an unbalanced load. If that is not the case, we would recommend checking the Drive Pulley, part number PS1482349, Tub Bearing, part number PS271510, and Tub Dampening Strap, part number PS271100. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order, anyone will be happy to assist you. We hope that helps.

I spoke to a very nice young ladie who took my order and I received my order within two days. I pull the clasp off of the old knob and replace the knob and the clasp with the new part and it now works great. Thank you for helping me find the part I needed.
After removing frt panel which prys off I checked for anything obvious like a loose belt. Then I jiggled the magnet switch located on the inside of the loading cover. I saw the machine start agitating the it stopped again when I stopped touching it. I ordered the new part and spliced it in with the wire crip tool. Now the machine is A ok.
