When checking the door strike check and see that it lines up with the catch on the door lock. If it is damaged, it will need to be replaced. The door lock contains a switch that will send a signal to the electronic control board when the door is locked allowing washer to spin. If the door lock is malfunctioning, the door may not lock. To verify if the door lock is operating normally, you will need to test it for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting. You should receive a reading between 50 and 150 ohms.
