Hi, The back of my French Door GE Fridge keeps icing up. Right now it is happening almost weekly and I have to defrost it and then it ices up and gets a little warm again. The temp. still says 38 but you can tell it is warmer in there. The Freezer is fine. I purchased and changed out the Evaporator Fan Motor and also had the defrost sensor replaced by a repair person who said that it was the only part with a slightly bad volt reading. Next he would like to replace the controller board. Does this sound like a logical next step?
Thanks for any help!!

Hello Joseph, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description you have provided, we would recommend checking the defrost heater, part number PS2322740, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
Unscrew old filter and remove(counterclockwise). Line up arrow on new filter with arrow on connection housing. Turn clockwise till resistance met. Do not overtighten. Follow directions. Simple.
The installation video notes that the door mullion spring has a bent end, and that the bent end of the spring is to be inserted into the LOWER hinge. However, on my refrigerator door, the bent end of the door mullion spring must be inserted into the UPPER hinge in order for the door to function properly. (Also noted that in your video the installer manually closed the door mullion rather than just closing the refrigerator door, another indication that the installation of the spring was incorrect.) After watching the video several times to confirm I was installing the door mullion spring according to the video instructions, I tried inserting the bent end of the door mullion spring into the upper hinge, which proved to be the correct installation of the door mull spring. What should have been a 5 minute repair turned into an ½ hour repair.
