My ice maker wouldn't release the ice, nothing was frozen and the motor would just bind

I bought the ice assembly motor only, super easy to install, remove the three main screws, lift out assembly, detach the cable. Then remove the screws on the parts, lift the tape, redo everything in reverse and it works flawlessly!

LED’s we’re not working only 2 we’re lit

Remove 2 screws swing light down a little bit and pull it to front unplug wires . The hard part of job was finding new replacement light, Partselect.com was only sight I could find that had new replacement number and had the light . Other sites including LG site would only tell me the part number on old lights was discontinued 2 of sites said try used appliance dealers

Leaking

Swapped old one with new one. New one had extra plug not needed.

The cover had cracked

1. Remove all food from the shelf and take out the crisper drawers.
2. Remove the glass and take out the crisper frame.
3. Take the screws out of the frame that are holding the cover frame in place and remove the old cover frame..
4. Install the new cover and replace screws.
5. Re- install the drawers and glass.

( I'm a 76 yr old female and did it myself with the help of the instructions you provided!). Thanks

The original spring in the mullion door broke

I disconnected the refrigerator power, removed the 2 screws holding the mullion door on the left side of the refrigerator French-door (it’s the flap that allows the door to close). Removed the broken spring and installed the replacement spring in its place. Reinstalled the mullion door by putting it in place and installing the previously removed screws.

The spring on the mullion was broken so the mullion would not open to seal the other door.

I am a73 year old woman. If I can do this, anyone can. Super easy. Just watch the online video.

Water had reached its recommended service life..

Closed valve to water supply line; Removed contents of top shelf. Removed top shelf by sliding it out. Unscrewed old water filter and screwed in new filter. Replaced to shelf and contents in reverse order. Opened water supply line.

Spring in the plate front assembly broke. Door plate assembly would not move into correct position, preventing door from closing.

Broken spring on flapper door

Unplugged the frig and removed two phillip screws on flapper door of left door... Unplugged the electrical connector and removed flapper...
Picked up new flapper and snapped electrical contractor together... Slid new flapper bar into place and inserted two phillip screws... Job complete in 15 minutes...

Icemaker not working

Removed ice bin
Unscrew the 3 screws.
Lift ice maker for the bottom to remove it but do not pull it until the power is unplug from the part.
Install the new part the same way you removed the old part.
Turn the switch and waiting 48 hours before the ice bin start getting ice

Ice and water large paddle button stuck so would not turn off

Scary not hard. But pry panel out start at bottom or right side and pull. and was told from tube video that lg said if you break a few tabs that was normal and not to worry there is plenty. I think I broke one but after repair just pushed it back into place and it is good as new. The broken part was obvious and easy to replace. Just go for it
