The temp in my fridge is set at 39 degrees and things are freezing sych as liquid food etc. What could be causing this and what part do I need to repair this. Thank you in advance.

Thank you for your question. If the fresh food section of the refrigerator is too cold, we recommend checking the temperature sensor and the electronic control board. The temperature sensor will need to be submerged in ice water for 5 minutes until the temperature reaches 32 degrees F, so you can test it for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting. When testing it, you should receive a reading of 16,600 ohms (+/- 5 percent). If you receive any other reading, you will need to replace the temperature sensor. When inspecting the electronic control board, look for any signs of damaged foil, wear, burnt connections, arcing, or any other damage. If it shows any signs of damage, you will need to replace the electronic control board. We hope this helps!
Unplugged faulty ice maker, removed two screws holding it to the refrigerator and took it out. Reversed the operation with the new ice maker and after a few minutes presto, we have ice.
I had put in a new ice maker and it still had the problem, (I needed the Ice maker anyway) I installed the vale and while I was at it I put a five year filter on the water line that went from the value to the Ice maker, it took less than one hours, the ice is making like it did when it was new, I could not be more please at theis time.
