When the dishwasher lights up but goes completely blank and fails to start after you shut the door, it points to a faulty door latch switch, part number PS9492291. You will need to replace it to fix the issue. If the latch isn't fully clicking and sending the closed signal to the control, the board times out and shuts down. We hope this helps.
