FFTR2028SP1 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

I watched and followed the instructions on YouTube ?? very easy

Replacement was a snap! Literally! OK there were two snaps. One on each side.

Opened the box, snapped it in place. Took longer to just open the box! I carefully inspected the part and compared to the original. I could not tell them apart. The fit and finish is perfect. This is a very well made product. Easy to order, fast shipping, well packaged and very easy to install.

screwed the center hinge and spacer on the refrigerator then installed the center pin on the hinge and bottom door placed the top door on the pin and then screwedthe top hinge to the refrigerator,like new

Old shelf was removed and the new shelf clicked right into place, an exact match, perfect fit.

I can't believe I put if off so long... so easy to do and PartSelect was very fast, efficient, and the cheapest vendor for my part.

removed both the shelf retainer and shelf bin, replace with the new units ordered from partselet.com. the whole process from searching, ordering, shipping and installing was very easy... thanks for everything

The part i recieved, from parts select was a larger in circumfrence (<1/4) than the original. However i was not aware of this until after i treid to repair it.

I removed the broken fan from the condenser. This was very sipmle.

When i pluged the refridgerator back in to the outlet the fan tried to start up but soon began to make aloud noise, due to there not being enough clerance.

The repair itself total time was quick and easy. Since the original fan blade blew apart, it was only a matter of putting the new one on in it's place. This can be done by feeding the blade between the cowling and Condenser coil and applying pressure to get it on the shaft.

If your fan is still on the shaft, simply push it off and extract it the same way. Then place the new one on the shaft.

In my case, since the part would take a couple days to get, and I had food both in the fridge and the freezer, I removed and unplugged the Condenser Fan Motor and the cowling frame and temporarily spliced a small fan I had into the line for the condenser motor. This kept the fridge working long enough to get the replacement part.

Side note. Direction of airflow is towards the Compressor, and draws air across the Condenser coils.

R&R DOOR SEAL VERY EASY TO INSTALL THANKS TO ALL

Required a trip to the hardware store. Online research showed that Gorilla Glue would hold gasket in place and was recommended for that task. Needed to glue each side separately to keep the spline in the groove. Took far longer than it should have!

Pulled off the old seal and put the new one on. No tools needed. It fit where it was supposed to and seals the door like new now! Thank you!

Slid it in place. Waiting patiently for lower shelf that holds vegetable bins. We have duct taped the broken one together and it is holding for now. We would like an update on expected delivery date.

The repair was very easy to do. All I did was slip the bottom part of the new handle over the Phillips screw on the refrigerator door. Then I put the top part of the handle in place on the top of the refrigerator door. I put the 2 Phillip screws back in the top part of the handle with a Phillips screw driver.

It took less than 15 minutes to replace the old cracked handle with a new one. In the future if I need anymore parts, I will be ordering from your company again. I am happy with my order and the great service I got from the staff at Part Select. Thank you, Sandy McClaflin
