Is there a way to shut off this annoying beeping that happens when the time runs out? One beep would be sufficient but three beeps? And it doesn't stop when you open the door. Ugh.
For model number FFMV164LSA
Hello Gary, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, if the beeping sequence was programmed that way when the unit was produced it cannot be changed.

When door is closed the microwave starts heating up. No light on. What could be the problem..? thanks for your help...
For model number FFMV164LSA
Hello,
Thank you for your question. If the microwave is turning on by itself when the door is closed, the issue is likely one of the door switches and you will need to test them with a multi-meter. As you will be testing electrical components, verify that you have unplugged your microwave before beginning.
Locate and remove the door switch. You will need to remove the cabinet in order to access it. You should also inspect the door hooks that trigger the door switch to verify they are activating the switch mechanically. To test the switch for continuity, set your multi-meter to Rx1, depress the actuator button and touch the terminals with the probes. You should receive a reading of 0, indicating that there is continuity. If your switch does not have continuity between the terminals, you will need a replacement door switch. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

Exhaust fan started while cooking could not shut off, had to unplug microwave.
For model number FFMV164LSA
Hi Terri, thank you for getting in touch. We would suggest checking the main control board, part number PS2582996. Over time, the relay on the main circuit board that controls the fan can physically "weld" itself closed from electrical arcs. When this happens, continuous power is delivered to the fan motor regardless of temperature or buttons pressed. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
I need a monitor switch and 2 hood thermostat for this microwaveoven
For model number FFMV164LSA
Hello Elsa, thank you for reaching out. The door switch you are looking for is part number PS12071302, and vent thermostat is part number PS12071310. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week!
Remove vent cover then remove touch screen control panel. When you remove control panel take photo of where everything is plugged in then unplug and remove control panel. 3 door switches located next to door in a plastic chassis. Test each switch with current tester. Remove the bad switch and replace with the new one. You tube DIY helped.
First thing I dir was search YouTube for any related videos and found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHj4H9Fdxrc, it was the exact problem my microwave was exhibiting. Once I verified the problem by troubleshooting, I removed the part and verified that the switches were working fine, the door latch assembly showed signs of wear which was the cause of the problem. After receiving the replacement part I installed it, verified that power was restored to the unit and reassembled the microwave, works fine, hope it lasts a long time!
The diagnosis is about an hour. Coz, I need to open the control panel, got a tester, and trsted all critical parts inside the panel. Also, replaced the fuse just to make sure its a new one. Found out it was a switch (bottom part) that control the open/close of the microwave door.
When found out the problem, the rest of the work is easy.
