Hello,
I have a FDSH4501AS3A that was involved with a utility power issue (ground wire energized from power company). The issue damaged the main mother board which has been replaced. The unit appears to be running through it's cycles but gets a i30 error when it runs. The pump appears to turn on (makes noise and hear water running). Do you know what other parts need to be addressed?
Thank You

Hi Joe, thank you for getting in touch. We have researched and found that the error code i30 indicates that there is a drain problem. We would suggest checking the pressure switch. If it is not the issue, we would recommend replacing the drain pump, part number PS16218738, to solve the problem. We hope this helps!
What does code. .30 mean. When plugged in machine makes a constant draining sound. Cannot cancel or restart machine. I did not receive a use and care instruction booklet when I purchased it from Home Depot.

Hi Bob, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, the i30 error code indicates that the dishwasher thinks it has flooded with water. We would suggest checking the pressure switch, part number PS12586275. It senses and controls the water level in the dishwasher. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Hi Brenton, thank you for reaching out. Ensure that the power cord is fine. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the main control board, part number PS16763337. It ensures proper operation, manages functions, and controls electrical connections. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Hello Betsy, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, wash the dishwasher filter by hand in your kitchen sink. If it is extra gross or caked with food residue, let it soak in warm soapy water for about 10 minutes. Use a soft brush to gently scrub the inside and outside of the filter to remove all food particles and buildup. Avoid wire brushes or rough scrubbing that could damage delicate dishwasher filters. Once clean, rinse the filter thoroughly with water. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
