My washer constantly pauses throughout the load cycle. I have to press start to keep it going. It typically stops at minute 33 and 15 left to go when on the normal cycle. The fast cycle causes the machine to go into Error code 11. I replaced the door latch and the switch assembly it locks into. This has not solved the problem.
For model number EFLW427UIW0

Hi Sacha, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, if the error code is E11, it indicates that the washer is taking too long to fill with water. Considering the remaining issues, we would recommend replacing the control board, part number PS12705780, to solve the problem. It manages the washer's functions such as filling, washing, draining and spinning. We hope that helps!

door latch assembly keeps failing. Have replaced it 3 times. Latest lasted less than 1 month. Suspect something upstream causing part to fail. Motherboard?
For model number EFLW427UIW0
PartSelect logo
Hi Anthony, thank you for reaching out. Yes, a faulty main control board can cause repeated door latch failures by sending incorrect or inconsistent electrical signals, which stress and eventually burn out the components of the latch assembly. You may need to replace the control board, part number PS12365897, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

latch broke, door wouldn't shut, washer wouldn't run - no fun
I googled the problem, read the recommendation found the part and read that it was an easy fix. Took the broken part off the door and noticed the broke off piece was in the latch on the machine. Ordered the two parts, paid the $30 2-day delivery. Parts arrived and the machine was up and runnning in under 5 minutes
