When running the clean washer cycle I always seem to get an error (E) message. Thus it never runs a full cycle. This time I got the message with 11 minutes to go. What is going on?
Thanks,
For model number EFLS617SIW0
Hello Dvorah, thank you for getting in touch. If the error code is E11, then it indicates that the washer is taking too long to fill. We would recommend checking the inlet hoses for any clogging. If this is not the issue, we would suggest replacing the water inlet valve, part number PS11766077, to solve the problem. Glad to be of assistance!
I googled the problem, read the recommendation found the part and read that it was an easy fix. Took the broken part off the door and noticed the broke off piece was in the latch on the machine. Ordered the two parts, paid the $30 2-day delivery. Parts arrived and the machine was up and runnning in under 5 minutes
Remove two screws on attachment plate slide door lock plate out. Disconnect wire harness. Remove two screws on back side. Then reverse the process, done!
P.S. don't pay $32 for next working day it still took 3 days to arrive. doesn't help when your leaving in two.
Removed broken off part with screwdriver and replaced with the new. The store repair man was going to charge $129 and we were able to do it ourselves for $30. A big thank you!
