Does this dishwasher have a water heater. My dishes are no longer coming out clean.

Hi Carlos,
Thank you for your question. The heater unit is part of the circulation pump, part number PS12085715. If the water is no longer heating, then the circulation pump will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
During the cycle the unit stops and the number display flashes. If I open the door and press the start button I get the ding and once closed it will run but only a minute. Any thoughts on what maybe causing it and the needed parts. Thanks in advance

Hi Merrit, thank you for your inquiry. The issue with your dishwasher stopping mid-cycle and flashing a number display is likely caused by a faulty door latch assembly, part number PS9606356. The most common cause is a door latch assembly that is failing to consistently signal to the control board that the door is securely closed. The door switch's internal mechanism may be worn or damaged. Glad to be of help!
This is not a repair for the faint of heart. You will have to pretty much disassemble the entire dishwasher to replace the main pump assembly. And it’s not cheap, between the pump assembly and the hose...it was over $300...
This dishwasher is Junk...been through 2 motherboards, plastic internal spray arms...and finally a pump assembly...if you own one and the pump begins to leak....shorts the pump motor out....if it gets this far...but a new dishwasher.
Extremely easy! Unscrewed 6 screws and simply put the panelin place and screwed back into place! Perfect fit! We just finished a kitchen remodel and that was the only eyesore. Thank you Part Select!
