Where do I get a replacement felt drum seal for this model?

Hello Joseph, Thank you for the question. The Felt Seal was only sold as part of the Drum, Manufacturer Part Number DC97-14849M. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!

Dryer was not heating replace element simple enough now it wont run at all checked the wiring it is all good replaced the fuse on the motor vent was boarder line still nothing what else can i look at it was running just not heating before

Thank you for your question. If your dryer does not start, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the drive belt, the idler pulley assembly, the door switch, the motor and the electronic control board. Dryer will not turn off. Power switch turns on/off the display functions but will not turn off the dryer. Start/pause button does not seem to work either. Control panel setting seem to work. Only opening the door will stop the dryer. Dryer does not heat as well

Hello Kevin, Thank you for the question. This normally indicates a faulty Timer. The timer for this model is built into the Control Board, so the Board will need to be replaced. Well it went really well until the dryer was put back together as it still didn’t heat. The dryer was taken apart again. This time the thermistors &fuse was tested. Alas, the new fuse was faulty. After putting the car lid fuse back on n, the dryer worked again
YouTube, YouTube, YouTube. I YouTubed many videos on how to take a dryer apart to reach the drum support roller and axle. After watching numerous videos, I settled on one that had my exact model of dryer. For my dryer, previous inputs said I needed two rollers to for my model. That is not the case. My model actually has 4 rollers, 2 in the front and two in the back. I ordered 2 initially but only needed 1 thankfully since only one roller was bad. Keep it simple stupid is how I got it done. Dryer's are pretty simple machines mechanically. Don't trash your noisy dryer. We bought ours in 2014 and it only recently started giving us issues. This is after 2 moves and being run daily for a family of 6. I'm glad I found partselect.com. They saved me a ton of money.
