How do you remove old ice maker.
For model number DFSF9VKBAWW
Hi Terry, thank you for the question. To remove the icemaker, follow the following steps:
1. Remove the ice bucket.
2. Remove the wire harness cover.
3. Then, with a small flat-blade screwdriver, pry the front of the cover out and pull the cover towards the front of the appliance.
4. Take pictures or take note of how the wire harness plugs in and disconnects the harness.
5. Next, push in the release tab on the front of the icemaker and pull the icemaker out.
We hope this helps!

Until I figured out that the Metal cover on the divider door had to be removed (pried out) giving access to the hidden hinges. After that the hinges could be removed and replaced.Great with giving phone thou.
