Our dryer got wet when our basement had a flood. It is now not heating and we are not sure what is wrong. It is elevated off the ground since we do tend to get water in the basement if it rains hard. It turns on and will run a cycle, it just does not heat up.

Hello Darryl, Thank you for the question. You can try to press and hold for 5 seconds the "Control Lock/Unlock" button on the control panel to unlock. If this does not help you will need to reset the appliance by unplugging it from the power source for 5 mins. We hope this helps.

I’m having trouble with my dryer heating up. I’ve already replaced the gas valve ignition solenoid, but my dryer still won’t heat up. No heat is generated whatsoever.

Hello Jerry, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the cycling thermostat, part number PS756232, to fix the issue. Glad to be of assistance!
It was pretty easy. After already taking apart the dryer to install a new belt I knew exactly my plan of action. I removed the two screws that hold the top panel of the dryer to the front panel. I then removed the top panel and removed the screws that hold the front to each side panel. I than pulled the front away from the cabinet and drum. I put the new slides in place and installed a new felt strip. I put it back together and that was that. Very easy.
1. Removed top cap on lid by removing the 3 - phillips screws. 2. removed front digital display panel from PC board. 3. removed bolts with nut-driver on the top of the front panel, removed bottom screws with #2 square bit. 4. removed "snap-in" plastic top bearing ( paying attention to where wiring is routed within this frame. 5. cleaned all areas of plastic and felt debris, installed new bearing, felt, and glides. 6. Re-installed all wiring and panels.
*** make sure to order all of the glides, there should be a total of 4 for the top assembly.
Removed the front Dryer panel. Left drum in place and lifted it up slightly to get access to motor drive. Slipped belt in place and put panel back on. This was a first attempt ever at fixing an appliance and it was no big deal.
