watched video on your site - pulled knob firmly straight off - pulled off small metal piece that remained on plastic dryer knob - pushed on new knob -!!!

Called my son-in-law. Easy as pie

just replaced the unit handle and how my wife can open the dryer without a screwdriver

Pulled the drum an found spade clip burned on wire. Hi limit Thermostat crumbled/ broke while pulling spade clip so I trimmed back the wire, cleaned the spade clip and soldered the wire back on. Isolated the other thermostats in the system and tested for resistance. Reassembled dryer.

Piece of cake, mostly because of the nice exploded drawing that was on the site when ordering the parts, it was easy to identify what was needed and order it.

I will never call a repair man again :-)

After removing pieces that were stuck in the door, I simply popped the new handle in place. It took less than a minute. What was the easiest was ordering and receiving the new parts- I ordered and 2 days later I received the new parts. I didn't expect to get the new parts for at least a week.

The best part of this story was I ordered the part on a Saturday and got it on Monday evening.
The repair took less than 20 seconds. I am extremely impressed with the fast fast fast shipping time.

Unplug the dryer. Remove top panel (remove two screws on the upper inside edge of the dryer door). Lift the front panel from front (tabs and slots at the back) and lift off. Remove the front panel (remove a screw from each side - top/front). Front panel sits on two feet at the bottom, tilt it forward from the top and lift it up (careful not to damage the electrical connection at the bottom left side). I found the dryer had another damaged part (plastic guide that the Slide WH and the Drum Slides connected to was badly worn). After ordering the additional part I attached the slides (white and gray) to the guide. Set the front panel back on the two feet and tilt it back into place (you'll need to slightly raise the drum back into position - easy). Replace the two screws that connect the front panel. Replace the top cover. The whole repair took less than 1/2 an hour including the time it took to vacuum out the dust. Total cost, about $35!

removed old knob, cleaned surface under knob, sprayed metal knob on dryer with wd-40, put new knob on. useing the wd-40 makes the knob turn a lot easyer.

Removed 2 screws to remove top. Removed 2 other screws to remove front. Removed old parts. Installed new parts. Reassemble all afetr cleaning duct work out.

The gentleman knew what the problem was, sent the right part, and I looked like I was smart.

Removed old knob, took a pair of needle nose plyers to remove wire band that was left behind from original knob. Slipped on new knob and voila! Easy fix! Now I need to replace rotary start switch.

Just put it on, but this is the second time I've had to replace this knob in 3 yrs.

All I had to do was snap it on and was ready to go. How easy was that. Would order any other parts again.
