The hardest part was getting hte right replacement drawer.

Pull out old pan,remove the vent cover from front and install it on the new pan, done.

Remove ice maker bucket. Unscrew single screw in center of shield, take out shield. Insert new shield, making sure the 2 tabs on the shield are slid into mount from the left, center the shield so center tab is aligned with screw hole, Tighten screw, replace ice bucket. SUGGESTION: This would be a good time to replace light bulb!

Replaced auger and front helix kit.

Snapped off the plastic plate covering the dispenser. Removed the four screws holding the mechanism in place. Remove the electrical connections. Pull the mechanism out and up carefully pulling the dispenser pad out with all the mechanism in place. Look at the mechanism before removing any parts to get a mental image so that reassembly will be easy. Remove any electrical switch or circuit boards and remove old parts before submerging the mechanism in hot soapy water for clean-up. The Clean-up will take longer than the disassemble and reassembling. After completion the dispenser works as it should.

Followed on line instructions. No problems.

Followed the video directions. Spent about 5 minutes and I was done. Very easy to do. Problem with frost is gone. The video makes it easy to remove the plastic parts without any damage.

Looked at the instructional video and read previous customer comments. Didn't have to dissassemble rear of freezer door. Access through the front once trim ring and circuit board removed. Could not have done it with out the video/and or previous customer comments. Part was shipped and received immediately. Repairs complete! No more frost developing and plugging ice chute! I especially appreciate the customer comments on how to complete this repair!

Googled how to replace the door seal, ordered parts and replaced the door seal flapper. The video on partselect was not correct for this GE model. However a simple diagran showed you simply remove the control panel directly (pops off) to provide access to the panel. Remove the 4 screws holding the panel, replace the door seal, and reassemble.

Watched the PartSelect video. Very simple and solved the problem. Very pleased with the repair and PartSelect.

Removed the ice maker control panel and accessed the flapper door, easy switch out for new door and seal. The 2 year old warped seal didn't close and so ice crystals formed in the freezer - new unwarped part and Ta-Da no more problems :)

I watched the video on the PartSelect.com website and decided to give it a try. The replacement of the flapper was even easier than I anticipated! The old flapper was extremely warped and was allowing air into the freezer. I'm not sure how/why it was in that condition but I am happy to report that I have no more ice buildup. I followed a video supplied with the e-mail notification of the shipment of the part. This was one of the best experiences I have had with locating, purchasing and installing a replacement part for an appliance.

Removed frame, unscrewed the electrical panel, and popped the flapper off. Installed new flapper. Replaced the electrical panel and re-installed the frame.
