I complained to my wife that she wasn't closing the door all the way. My buddy found a torn washer on the floor and we discovered the riser cams (both) worn torn apart
Not really sure of the age of this fridge, as we bought the house 2.5 yrs ago.

I'm one who if it can go wrong, it will, so not realizing how stable the door was from just having the top hinge and the magentic gasket, I declined to prop the door up on blocks the way some guys say the did, and instead removed the top hinge and lifted the whole door off the bottom hinge. I traced the outline of all parts with a felt pen before removing them, figuring I'd need witness marks to help with realignment after the install.
Nut driver might've been an easier choice than the socket set, but the only ones I have a brittle and I've broken the 5/16"...
All parts came out/off easily. The new bottom hinge and the old top hinge (both on the fridge side) practically aligned itself right on my marks, and the new cam (door side) just needed to be held while the screws were tightened. I used the extensioni rod off the ratchet to drive the screws most of the way (making a nutdriver out of it).
Parts were exactly as advertised, although there was a note in the package that stressed the need to replace both parts at the same time due to material differences in the original and replacement parts. Since the cam is sold separately without the hinge, it would be good for the website to reflect that before the purchase is made. Also, even though it was only the cam on the hinge and not the whole hinge that needed to be replaced, I could've bought hte two cams separately and drilled out the rivet as another person had done, but for the $5 difference in cost, why bother?
Door now closes itself as designed, albeit slower than the freezer side, but the Wife says it always did that.
Also interesting that when first assembled, the door DIDN'T close itself at first... not sure it it needed to wear a litle, or if it just needed the added weight of having items back in the door shelves.
Love the great website... just typed in the model number and the parts I needed, complete with drawings to make sure, were right there. Great UI.

Door dropped. Cam riser was gone
Emptied the refrigerator door so it was easier to take off. Used a screwdriver to remove the screw on the top hinge. Lifted door off bottom hinge. Laid the door down so I could take the bottom hinge off. Removed worn out parts and placed the new one on. Slipped door back on hinge, made sure it would close properly and was lined up with freeze door. Put top hinge back in place. Done!! Now door finally shuts on its own again!!! EASY!!!

Door closing cam worn out
First issue, I tried to get the top hinge cover off by gently prying. No go. Went to get a step stool and discovered a small screw holding the plastic cover on. At least I didn't break it by prying. I then removed the two top hinge bolts and removed top hinge. I then lifted the door off the bottom hinge.

I then removed the bottom hinge (two bolts) and replaced it with the new hinge with the attached lift cam. (Bottom half of cam)

I then removed the broken lift cam from the bottom of the door, replacing it with the door closing cam included in the hinge assembly package.

Second issue: I did not need to order the DOOR closing cam as a separte item as it came with the hinge assembly package. (There was a warning note in the hinge assembly package to use the door cam included, as new materials had been used and abnormal wear could occure if you didn't replace both pieces of the lift cam)

I set the door back on the bottom hinge, replaced the top hinge and tested. The door would NOT close on it's own. Getting down on my belly I could see resistance of the door light switch was keeping the door from closing. The fix of this issue was to load the door with the normal use items. This provided enough weight to the door and offset the resistance of the switch. EVERY THING WORKED GREAT. Time was 26 minutes from start to finish.

Hinge assembly spacer at bottom hinge failed breaking up in small pieces
Followed other messages to complete fix. Simple overall.

Please note that if you buy the hinge assembly, you get spacer parts that mate. If you don't you have to hack-saw the rivot off the old hinge assembly to do your repair. Hinge assembly cost more but less work.

Door sagged and would not stay closed
Don't even need to empty the shelves in the door.
Just prop the door up with a block of wood from the floor to the bottom of the door. Lay on the floor and replace the parts.

The door was acting up for a long time. I wish I had researched and repaired the problem a long time ago. Now it works great!

HInge Cam Riser next to lower door hinge broke and door would not close
The refrigerator door would now close and notice broken plastic on the floor. It is a 1990 or so GE fridge. To repair - ordered the Cam Riser (the plastic piece that broke and the matching lower door bracket.

Took off the lower hinge with a socket wrench. removed the door. Replace the old Cam Riser with the new one. Slid the door onto the upper guide then fastened the new hinge with the socket wrench.

Easy job .. around 20 minutes.

Door wouldn't open/shut properly.
I could see a broken part but couldn't tell exactly how it was oriented on the hinge. I bought just the cam riser but then thought I needed the hinge kit based on what I read on this site. Then I saw better pictures of the hinge kit on another site & realized there are 2 cam risers that meet. The one riveted to the hinge was fine (in my case) - I only needed the upper one...a very inexpensive repair. Do NOT remove the door for this repair. Slide the door up a bit while closed and use a pint-sized paint can to prop it up. Make the repair and remove the can...done.
