removed the wooden cutter block rt side top and the air exst.vent guard lf side then with a phileps driver 2 screws holding the control knob assm.in. both control knob assm.rt&lf come off the same way. just scraped out what that was left of the old lens stuck in new one and reatached light bulb holder. this bulb holder presses on and slides side ways to lock in place. then snaped control knob assm. back in and tighten the 2 screws. replaced vent guard & wooden cutter block. all was done.

Replaced switch.

How I did the repair is no consequence. The service of easily finding the part on your site is GREAT! and the shipping time more than reasonable! Thanks!

Replaced the switch.

I lifted off the old grill and replaced them with the new ones. My stove top looks great again. If I could find them, I would like to replace the knobs to turn on the gas!

I had repair men replace the door hinges 2times and decided the 3rd time to do it myself and save some $. ordering was a chinch, received the parts in 2 days and followed instructions posted on this site. They were excellent. Just a few things I would stress: Lift UP the door to remove, not open the door fully and pull out and also make sure to take the small pins out of the new hinges before closing. They are so small you could over look them. The person who put detailed instructions on this site is to be commended for clarity and detail on "How To" I really appreciated it.

We watched the video demo & followed it step by step. The project took about 35 minutes and we replaced the hinge on each side of the oven. First we removed the oven from the wall, then dismantled it & cleaned it thoroughly, removed the old hinges and replaced with new ones. the only problem we had was that the pin holding the hinge open was missing on one of the hinges, but we cut a nail and inserted it to hold the hinge open. The job was completed quickly, and the oven door fits and works well. Thanks for the video--it really helped us.

Loosen two screws to remove door. Removed outside trim and other outside screws hold center panel in place. Removed one screw holding hinge in place. Screwed new hinge in place. Re-attached center panel to outside trim and hung door. Easy enough.

Replaced oven gasket and both oven hinges. Repairs did not work. Oven door is actually worst. Do not waste your time replacing the oven hinges unless they are actually broken. When to Ace hardware and bought a package of 3 super magnets for about $10. Practice placing the magnets on metal strip on outside of the actual oven vs the oven door. This metal strip is not galvanized for which the oven cleaning latch goes through. Appeared to solve the problem. I then used epoxy glue to insure the super magnets would permanently stay in place. These are dangerous magnets that must be kept away from children and pets. You will spend more time separating these magnets from each other than gluing them in place. This part I will let you figure out but the only way to separate the 3 magnets from each other is the slide them, one at a time, from each other. Now I am awaiting 4 to 6 hours for the epoxy to cure. The repair was easy. First, I turned off cooktop circuit breaker. Then, removed the burner switch panel and the nut securing burner switch to panel. Disconnected the wiring and refit with new switch. Install switch panel and turned power back on. Now it's time to cook some dinner. Let's eat. :)

I purchased a replacement. I unplugged the cooktop. Unscrewed the little instrument panel and pulled it out. Turning over the panel, I noted the wires to the switch and photographed them in case I need to check them later. I pulled them off of the old, broken switch and put them onto the new switch, one at a time so that I couldn't get them messed up. Once all of the wires were switched, I removed the old switch and put on the new one. I then plugged in the model and tested the switch. It worked perfectly! IMPORTANT: I then tried to slide the panel back into the cooktop but forgot to unplug it first. This was a huge mistake, causing a nasty flash of electricity and smell. I unplugged the cooktop, put the panel back in, and replugged the cooktop. It worked, fortunately. Moral: ALWAYS unplug the damned cooktop when working on it!
