How can I tell if the circuit board needs changing or if the elements that don't work are the problem?
For model number BOV650XL
Hi Michael, thank you for the question. You can determine whether the problem lies with the heating element or the circuit board by performing a visual inspection and using a multimeter to test the continuity of the heating elements. Look for visible signs of damage on the non-working elements, such as cracks, breaks, or discoloration. A visibly damaged element is a clear sign it needs replacement. If the visual inspection doesn't reveal any obvious issues, you will need a multimeter to test the elements for electrical continuity. If the element has good continuity but still doesn't work, and the oven receives power, the problem is likely a defective control board. We hope this information helps!
