Is there an external thermostat (automatic on/off) that would be compatible with this unit?
For model number AJCS12DCAM1
Hello John, thank you for contacting us. The model doesn't have an automatic control thermostat. The model only has a manual control thermostat. We hope this helps.

Called numerous appliance stores and GE but filter was not in stock and would take several weeks to fulfill. Thankfully I found this site and placed the order. Customer service was great and I received the filters in a few days. Will be ONLY TOO HAPPY to refer them. Thank you Maggie
